Hello everyone! I’m here today to talk to you all about my wonderful experiences working for ChomPics Productions on both our comedy series “Pressed” and our entertainment news show, “The Bite.” In short, I love it!
Joining NBS and ChomPics was the best decision I’ve made in my college career. My main goal in life is to work in news, television, or film production, and I know this experience will help me achieve that dream. When I got the news that I was chosen to be an editor for the “Pressed” pilot I was extremely thrilled, I knew that this episode would set the tone for the rest of the series and I love a good challenge. Thanks to the help of our wonderful team of editors, we produced a hilarious comedy that I’m truly proud of. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series turns out, and I’m especially excited to be working as one of the Assistant Directors for episode 5.
So if you’ve watched our hilarious entertainment news segment, “The Bite,” I am the creative mind behind the Viral Vault and Power Up segments. These packages are so fun to shoot and edit, and I couldn’t have asked for better reporters to work with. Thanks Sara and Carla! In addition, I’ve also been the floor manager for the most recent episodes, the red carpet special and episode 6. It’s been fun watching the episodes come to life, and being a part of the very talented production crew here!
For anyone who is looking for a way to get involved here in our college, I highly recommend it. ChomPics gave me a great outlet for production that I can be proud of and fantastic resume building opportunities. Not only that, it’s given me a large network of new friends that I love working with.
I’d like to personally thank President Beth Benge and former President Connor Hachey for starting this great organization, your hard work has certainly paid off.
